The last day; I feel both excited and sad at the same time. I’m excited because I have finished a challenge I set myself and managed to stick to it but sad because it is coming to an end. I have problems with endings, I know they have to come but I still don’t have to like it 🙂
Being at work certainly has helped with the Clean 9 as more focus is given to my work than cravings. I didn’t have my apple however and I had gotten use to having one between lunch and dinner. As a result, I was left feeling a tad hungrier than I normally would be but not too much to handle so we’re all good!
Even though I have finished the Clean 9, some of the things I have learned about myself and food will certainly stick; such as, if I don’t have food between meal is really hurts, but this is due to a past surgery I went through. Naturally I do need to eat something when the feeling arises otherwise I really can make myself quite sick by ignoring it. The Clean 9 however, had curbed quite a lot of the hunger feeling which to me it seems like I may have not been getting the nutrients I needed in the first place. So I will try and keep an eye on that.
Other things that I have realised are that I don’t need as much food as I thought, providing I actually get the right nutrients, and as much as I tried I really was not having enough water!
So what have been the benefits of my experience?
- My skin has become visibly clearer.
- I have lost a bit of excess weight cause by the build up of water retention.
- Lost of inches almost all over.
- Way more energy than you could shake a stick at.
- Far more focus than usual.
- A better understanding of my own body and how it uses nutrients.
- More confidence in my appearance and myself.
- Healthier and feeling lighter.
Weight: 12st 7lbs
So as you can see by my results, I lost inches around my waste and my hips which is where I needed to loose most. I lost half a stone of that stubborn weight that I have been trying to get rid of since my second child and I feel lighter and more like me again!
Note to self: mission for my body from now on is to eat what my body needs rather than just what tastes good!
My challenge is complete and I hope you have enjoyed reading about my journey. I shall endeavor to do another Clean 9 later in the year and perhaps follow this with the next 2 steps in the program. If you would like to buy the Clean 9 for yourself, you can do so from my shop! Feel free to browse all of my other wonderful items too 🙂
See you all later!
