For the past few months now, I have been getting more into healthy eating and a healthier way of living. So naturally, I’m always on the look out for new ways to create dishes that are not only nutritional but that with help promote a healthy lifestyle even if you are a desk jockey like me!
Before I get into my lovely healthy shake recipes, here’s why I have decided now to be a good time to share this.
Recently my team and I have started a challenge, which you can join too. We came up with the idea of switching breakfast, or biscuits and nibbles which oh so often becomes breakfast, for a balanced shake. Check it out below.
I’ve never really been one for shakes, but after doing the C9 challenge at the beginning of this year I thought I might give this a go and invite 8 of you to join in with us – all I ask, is for your feedback of your experience 🙂
Now on to the good stuff!
A new thing introduced to my family has been drinking healthy shakes. So far I have played it safe and stuck to fruit that my family – specifically my 4 year old at the time of writing – likes.
Both these healthy shakes can be made with or without a shake mix but the health benefits were too great to miss out on. You can also choose your own milk choice since it is all down to what flavours you like best.
- 1 Scoop Forever Lite Ultra Vanilla Shake mix
- 300ml unsweetened coconut soya milk
- Handful of blueberries
- 1 kiwi fruit
Strawberry and Banana
- 1 scoop of Forever Lite Ultra Vanilla Shake mix
- 200ml semi-skimmed milk
- 100ml water – warm or cold
- 4-5 Strawberries
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 apple of your choosing
At the time of writing this post there are only 7 spots left in the challenge so get in there quick and lets build a relationship that lasts!
See you all over on my Facebook page!
